Mary (nickname: Honey) Murray, our Communications Coordinator, and her husband, Tim, have been parishioners since 2008.
"I am extremely happy to have this part-time position and the responsibilities of our "Spotlight" bulletin, Facebook page, website, outdoor digital sign, email blasts, and working (remotely, at this time), with such an amazing team and parish family."
For twenty years, Mary owned and operated How About Lunch, a carry-out/catering restaurant on Woodward in Birmingham and then worked for Beaumont Health. She has been a freelance writer for many years.
"I grew up attending St. Benedict's in Highland Park," Mary shares. "The first 'real' article I ever wrote was in eight grade, about St. Ben's gorgeous Romanesque and Byzantine architecture, I feel so blessed to once again be writing for and about a beloved church."
