EASTER OUTREACH GIVING DETAILS
As part of our Christian Service Outreach, Christ, Our Light! parishioners are invited to take part in our Easter Giving Project. We will be collecting Easter baskets for children, local family food boxes, gift cards, and monetary donations. Our recipients are local parish families and families from Corpus Christi of Detroit, LaCasa Educational Center, MORC (Macomb Oakland Regional Center), St. Damien of Molokai in Pontiac and St. Luke parish in Detroit.
Easter baskets, local family food box tags, and envelopes for gift cards and monetary donations will be available at both church entrances the weekend of February 28 and March 1.
You may participate by:
· Filling an Easter basket with individually wrapped candy, a small toy, puzzle, crayons, stickers, bubbles, colored pencils, and/or a gift card (i.e. McDonalds, Target, movies). Baskets should be covered with clear cellophane wrap. The tag should be visible. Please no unwrapped candy. EASTER BASKETS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, MARCH 20.
